Pakistan skipper, Babar Azam has given a rather funny reply to the pressure question of an India-Pakistan game.

He says that securing tickets for the match is much more pressure than the game itself.

As India and Pakistan are ready to face off in today’s ODI World Cup game at the Narendra Modi Stadium, fans are quite excited.

The rivalry between the two sides is quite a historical one and generates huge viewership around the world.

There is more pressure for match tickets than match.

Meanwhile, talking about their 2019 ODI World Cup clash between the arch-rivals, India registered an emphatic win over Pakistan in the 22nd game in Old Trafford.

Furthermore, India opener, Rohit Sharma was the top scorer for his side as he smashed 140 runs from 113 balls that allowed India to post a total of 336/5.

However, there was a bit of rain in the game and it was reduced to 40 overs but the Men in Green could make only 212/6 and fell 89 runs short in the end.

Moreover, this victory stamped India’s superior authority over Pakistan as they went on to win their 7th game.

Babar says that he and his team want to live in the present

Meanwhile, the game between the arch-rivals has been overshadowed by India’s impeccable 7-0 record in the tournament.

Although India’s T20 World Cup winning streak was broken in 2021 by Pakistan in Dubai, the latter still haven’t found a way to defeat the Men in Blue in ODIs.

However, Babar has expressed his deepest faith in his side’s abilities and has not given the historical records much thought.

I think what has happened in the past is not important. We want to live in present. I think we can do well. India-Pakistan match is high-intensity. Believe in ourselves. There are a lot of fans coming. I think we have an opportunity to do well in front of fans.
