India pacer, Jasprit Bumrah has decided to meet his family before the all-important game against Pakistan on Saturday.

Apparently, Bumrah has been out of his hometown of Ahmedabad for quite a long time now and wishes to spend some quality time with his loved ones at home.

Additionally, India has also gained two back-to-back victories against Australia and Afghanistan and now looks forward to maintaining their win record against the Men in Green.

Moreover, all eyes will be on local boy Bumrah on Saturday as India plays Pakistan at Ahmedabad.

Furthermore, Bumrah has also stated that he has never played an ODI game at home and expects the feeling to be quite surreal on Saturday.

I’ve been away for a while now. I’ll be happy to see my mother at home. I’m going to see her. That’s the first basic thing for me. I have not played a one-dayer there, but I have played a Test match. The atmosphere is going to be exciting. I’m sure a lot of people are going to come. So, it will be a sight to see. So yeah, hoping for the best over there.

Indian team in excellent form at the moment in the World Cup

Notably, India is showing great resolve in the ODI World Cup so far as they have notched up two wins in the marquee event.

They now sit in second position on the points table and will look to increase it even more after defeating Pakistan.

While they did have a rough start against Australia, KL Rahul and Virat Kohli ensured that India won their opening game against the former.

In the second game, it was Rohit Sharma’s heroics and Kohli’s resolute knock that helped India beat Afghanistan yesterday.

With the Pakistan game just around the corner, it will be interesting to see how India faces their arch-rivals in a jam-packed stadium in Ahmedabad.
