India’s former pacer, S Sreesanth has given great praise to batter, Virat Kohli on his performance in the ongoing World Cup.

Meanwhile, Kohli is on a superb run of form in the World Cup and has amassed 354 runs in just 6 games and sits second in the runs table.

However, Sreesanth feels that it will be quite difficult for future batters to break Kohli’s records just like he is breaking Sachin’s records at present.

Moreover, Kohli is just one ton away from breaking Sachin’s record of 49 ODI tons and it is no surprise that he will get there and even to his 50th ton in just a few more games.

Additionally, Kohli has 13437 runs in 286 matches and he is the batter who is most capable of breaking Sachin’s ODI records.

Says Sreesanth on Kohli,

We are all talking about Sachin Tendulkar’s records, but Kohli is going to break the records for hundreds, fifties and most runs in the World Cup. Someone else might break it in the future, but it would be very hard for future batters to break Virat Kohli’s records.

Sreesanth says Kohli does everything with great emotion and passion

Speaking further, Sreesanth stated that whatever Kohli does, he does it with a lot of emotion and passion.

You can just keep on talking about Virat. The best thing especially in this World Cup is that hunger he has got, and not just for runs. When he is fielding, he does it with passion. For India, cricket is a religion and the whole world as well, it is an emotion. He plays with so much emotion. The way Virat plays, everything from sports to arts, gets expression.

Furthermore, Sreesanth has also praised Kohli’s family and close circle who keep him motivated and in a positive mindset.

Virat, please keep playing the way you do and lots of respect to his family and his full circle. The kind of feedback they are giving him, it’s amazing.

India’s modern batting great will be next seen playing against England on Sunday in Lucknow.
