The Pakistan Cricket Board(PCB) has requested the cricket team’s May 2024 visit to the Netherlands be postponed indefinitely. To be ready for the 2024 T20 World Cup, PAK was to face NED. The men in green were about to play three T20s against the Netherlands. The PCB wrote to the Koninklijke Nederlandse Cricket Board (KNCB) to request a postponement. The request for a delay of the series was because of KNCB’s busy schedule. The reason for the suspension of the series was published in Cricbuzz. The article adds that the two boards are trying to figure out how to determine the best window for conducting the series.

In August 2022, Pakistan went on a three-match ODI series trip to the Netherlands. The team captained by Babar Azam defeated the Dutch 3-0. Moreover, the PAK team stated that they would like to visit the nation for a second series. As per the Future Tours Programme (FTP), Pakistan would play T20Is in Europe. In May 2024, Pak will play T20Is against ENG and IRE while on a tour of Europe. The Pakistan team was originally scheduled to visit the Netherlands. However, their itinerary became more complex due to their busy schedule. Pakistan was to travel to NZ and host the West Indies. Moreover, after the two series, they were to return to NZ. Pakistan team itinerary also includes the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Moreover, the Pakistan team won’t have much of a break until the European trip after the home series against NZ. The home series against New Zealand consists of five T20Is. The series against NZ will be in late April.
