The Indian team has started their Asia Cup preparations in full swing at Karnataka’s Alur.

Moreover, the BCCI has arranged a five-day camp to enhance their skills and better prepare for the continental tournament.

However, one thing has irked the BCCI and they have given a verbal warning to all the Indian players.

This is because recently, former India skipper, Virat Kohli shared his yo-yo test score on his Instagram handle.

While his post received millions of likes and comments, the issue did not sit well with the apex body which considers this information very confidential.

That’s why they have issued a strict verbal warning to players requesting them to keep their yo yo test scores private.

Before the camp, all the players have to pass a yo-yo test to ensure their level of fitness is at its peak position.

Wrote Kohli on Instagram,

The happiness of finishing the Yo Yo test between the dreaded cones. 17.2 done.

Meanwhile, a source has stated the warning very clearly to all the players.

Players have been informed verbally to avoid posting any confidential matter on social media platforms. They can post pictures while training but posting a score leads to breach of contract clause.

Furthermore, for the five-day training camp in Alur, the BCCI has recruited 14 net bowlers so that there can be quality net sessions for the players.

Meanwhile, India will face off against Pakistan on the 2nd of September at Kandy’s Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.

Rohit Sharma is the skipper for the tournament while Hardik Pandya is his deputy for the mega event.

This tournament will allow India to finalize their batting lineup for the all-important and much-awaited ICC ODI World Cup, starting on the 5th of October.
