What did bowling coach Troy Cooley say ahead of the women’s IND vs AUS Test? In the Test against Australia, the Indian women’s cricket team has a lead of 157 runs.

IND VS AUS TEST

The Indian women’s cricket team is currently facing Australia in the Test held at Wankhede Stadium in India. Before the one-off Test against a strong Australia on Thursday, the Indian women defeated England. Therefore, the Indian women will be keen to cross off another fearless stunt, winning the IND vs Aus Test. Harmanpreet Kaur and company would know that there could be a better chance to do that on Wankhede ground. The Wankhede is predicted to suit the spinners. Moreover, India has never defeated Australia in the ten Test matches spanning over 46 years at home or abroad. In the meanwhile, India’s bowling coach, Troy Cooley said that,

“It’s a big difference in height to start with and we can’t fill those shoes. To fill that gap, it’s going to take time. He further added that,

For me to be able to come in as a bowling coach and work with more spinners than seamers was a challenge when I entered the job. However, I thoroughly loved it. I am learning a lot from the spinners. We’ve got a lot of good spin coaches at the National Cricket Academy who are happy to share ideas and I am happy to learn on the job. The bowling unit here works very well together. The bowlers are very selfless in how they look to match plans”
