JONTY RHODES TRAVELING IN TRAIN?

South African legendary adept fielder Jonty Rhodes recently traveled by train in India. The journey of his travel began in Bhopal and ended in Delhi. Jonty Rhodes chose to reach his destination by India’s high-speed train, Vande Bharat. Unlike other celebrities, Jonty decided to go against the cliché of flying by plane. Moreover, Syed Kirmani, a former cricket player for India, was traveling with him. Reaching their destination in New Delhi, Rhodes and Kirmani were greeted with garlands and Tilak. Jonty Rhodes on X Posted a picture of him and others inside the train and wrote,

“Partnerships are so important in cricket, at every level, and so I am very grateful to @AshwiniVaishnaw for this wonderful partnership that has just started with @llct20 and @RailMinIndia #trophytour”

In the picture shared by Rhodes, they were posing with the Legends League Cricket trophy. Therefore, taking tours across the nation to visit other destinations is part of the LLC trophy tour. Legends League Cricket and Indian Railways have planned a nationwide promotion, with the league’s trophy set to travel on Vande Bharat Express. The trophy will be transported around the nation, stopping in 17 different states and UTs. The 15-day spectacle is a first-of-its-kind experience. Union Minister for Railways, Ashwini Vaishnav on X wrote that,

“Legendary passenger experience on India’s fastest train. #LegendsLeagueCricket Trophy tour leaves Bhopal on Vande Bharat to cover 50 cities in 17 states.”

LLC 2023
