Yuvraj Singh, a former all-rounder, praised Virat Kohli after the latter delivered another match-winning knock in the World Cup 2023. India romped home with 12 balls remaining in their innings after being challenged to chase a total of 274. Kohli also had a chance to match Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 49 ODI hundreds, but he fell just short.

In terms of the game, the Men in Blue demonstrated their superiority with a disciplined bowling effort. India’s response began with a great opening combination of Rohit Sharma (46) and Shubman Gill (26), which created a solid platform of 71 runs. Virat Kohli, on the other hand, shone brightest, leading the team to victory with a match-winning 95 off 104 balls.
