VIRENDER SEHWAG RECOMMENDS TEAM INDIA

In the Asian Games 2023 edition, the men’s cricket team marked their first win in the quarter-finals stage after defeating Nepal. The Ruturaj and company had set a giant target of 203 with the loss of four wickets. The 21-year-old youngster Yashasvi Jaiswal had a commendable start to the campaign. The under-19 fame smashed a century on just 49 balls.

Moreover, his century includes eight fours and seven maximums. While the top-order couldn’t add much to the scoreboard, Rinku Singh conducted his destructive side to augment the scoreboard. The 25-year-old cricketer scored 37 runs off 15 deliveries, which includes two fours and four sixes. Moreover, Rinku Singh went not out in the innings.

Cricketing legend Virender Sehwag, who is always vocal on X(formerly known as Twitter), made his opinion on Rinku Singh’s destructive innings. Virender Sehwag took his social media and shared a post recommending Team India encourage explosive players like Rinku and SKY. Eventually, India would come across as a dangerous side.

Virender Sehwag posted on X(formerly Twitter)

“I just feel we have too many batters who play in the same gear. Need to nurture more explosive players who can play top gear, especially in T20 cricket. Many more in the Rinku and SKY mode needed to become a dangerous side”

IND VS. NE

While the Indian team put up a total of 202/4, the Nepal cricket team was also there to make their mark. The game wasn’t one-sided. The Nepal team started with big hits, which created a bit of nerve for the Indian fans. However, in the end, India took hold of the victory by 23 runs.
