However, head coach Rahul Dravid will be facing the difficult task of choosing between the both. Mukesh Kumar, who made his Test debut in the Caribbean, seems more skilled. In red-ball cricket, he has an average of 21 plus runs per wicket. On the other hand, Prasidh Krishna recently achieved a five-wicket haul against South Africa during the first unofficial Test.
KL Rahul has been named as a keeper for the series, but he has been out of form lately. Therefore, his role as a keeper and batsman is a cause for concern. However, Rahul has already stated that he is willing to take up any role the team management wants him to play.
