“Gill would play against Pakistan,” Rohit gives a strong indication

The Indian opener missed India’s opening two games of the tournament against Australia and Afghanistan. Gill was taken to hospital due to the sickness. But according to batting coach Vikram Rathour, “He was hospitalized, yes, but that was more as a precaution.”
Gill has scored 1,230 runs in 20 ODIs this year at an average of 72.35. This year, he has scored five century and five fifties, with the best score being 208.
