After getting some inclement weather in the past two days, a decision is going to be taken about removing the final of the Asia Cup to Kandy.

Nothing is official as of now but a decision will soon be taken on the matter by the ACC.

Meanwhile, the conditions in Colombo are not appropriate at the moment because of the bad weather.

Notably, Pallekele International Stadium hosted three group games of the tournament that included the high-octane clash between India and Pakistan.

However, the game was washed out because of heavy rain and both teams shared points.

But, the game between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh went off without any hitches as the city enjoyed good weather conditions that day.

Once again, during the India vs Nepal game, Pallekele experienced rainy weather but India defeated Nepal by 10 wickets with the help of the DLS method.

Meanwhile, the Super Four game between India and Pakistan also got rain-wrecked as it was shifted to the reserve day.

However, only 24.1 overs could be played on Sunday with the game being abandoned and shifted to the next day.

Resuming from the same point, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul took India ahead to score a mammoth 356/2 in 50 overs.

Afterward, India bundled out Pakistan for just 128 runs in 32 overs.

Kohli and Rahul scored 122 and 111 runs respectively and remained unbeaten till the end.

Kuldeep Yadav looked in fine form after scalping 5/25 in the game.

Also, Jasprit Bumrah, Shardul Thakur, and Hardik Pandya got one wicket each in the game.

Fakhar Zaman was the highest scorer with 27 from 50 balls for Pakistan in the game.
