Last Sunday, India lost the 2023 World Cup final to Australia by a devastating six wickets. Australia’s captain Pat Cummins invited India to bat first on a slow pitch at the storied Narendra Modi Stadium. This move would have a significant effect on the outcome of the match. As India was bowled out for 240 in fifty overs. Australia achieved a record-tying sixth World Cup title by chasing down the target with seven overs remaining as batting conditions improved under the lights.
