After the hosts destroyed Sri Lanka’s batting attack in the ODI World Cup 2023. Former Pakistani cricketer Hasan Raza gained notoriety by calling for an inquiry into the balls that the Indian players receive throughout their matches.

Raza said on a Pakistani TV channel that an investigation should be conducted into how the umpires or the ICC are supplying Team India with the balls. The full conversation was revealed when the Men in Blue defeated Sri Lanka by an overwhelming 302 runs.

We are not able to understand batsmen playing against other teams but whenever India begins their bowling. Bowlers like Shami and Siraj look like when we used to play Allan Donald and Makhaya Ntini in South Africa. There is a shine on the ball on one side and there is seam and swing. But here I think even the ball is getting change in second innings. The way ICC is giving these balls, or maybe the third umpire or BCCI is giving…I think these balls should be inspected,” Raza said.

Former Indian cricket player Aakash Chopra posted the comment on Twitter and expressed his shock. Hasan Raza posed the inquiry on social media after Aakash Chopra posted a question on whether or not it was a legitimate cricket match.

Is this a real cricket match? If not, kindly use English to refer to “satire” or “comedy” somewhere. Aakash Chopra tweeted, “I mean, it might be written in Urdu already, but I can’t read/understand it.

India continue their winning run following dominant performances.

The Men in Blue amassed 357 runs in the first innings before both teams squared off in the 33rd match of the ODI World Cup 2023. Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, and Shreyas Iyer all hit outstanding strokes. The bowlers did a commendable job of holding the score down.

With five wickets from Mohammed Shami, three from Mohammed Siraj, and a wicket apiece from Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja, India defeated Sri Lanka by a commanding score of 302 runs.
