In the match against the Netherlands, Shaheen took one wicket in seven overs with 5.29 economy. While in the second match against Sri Lanka, he dismissed one batsman in seven overs with an economy of 7.33.

Furthermore, talking of the IND vs Pak clash, Shaheen Afridi’s intentions for the game are clear. His statement about taking a selfie after collecting five wickets against India is making headlines. Team Pakistan had a practice session at the Ahmedabad stadium, focusing on fielding training.

“Zaroor selfie loonga, but five-wicket lene ke baad (I will definitely take one, but only after I’ve claimed five wickets)”

Pakistan achieved a significant win in the previous match against Sri Lanka. The Babar Azam and company honored their victory by six wickets with ten balls left. Mohammad Rizwan’s innings of 131 runs off 121 balls was one of the key contributions to the team’s victory. In addition, Abdullah Shafique’s score of 113 off 103 balls was also one of the highlights of the game.
