Nobody can deny India’s love for cricket and Bollywood. Kartik Aaryan is one of the most celebrated Bollywood actors of the current generation. Likewise, the World Cup 2023 hosted in India is already causing a stir on social media. Therefore, glimpsing Kartik Aaryan and Rashid Khan in the same picture, fans couldn’t control their excitement.
Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan posted a picture of himself with Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan on his Instagram on October 25. The two were also spotted at the gym smiling widely for the camera. While Kartik Aaryan wore a grey T-shirt with a black hoodie and matching sweatpants, Rashid wore a black T-shirt and cream slacks. Moreover, Kartik Aaryan wore a fashionable cap. Both of them twinned in white sneakers. Rashid Khan captioned the post as “Great bumping into you” with a a smiley emojis. Later, Kartik Aryan reposted the Rashid Khan’s post on his Instagram story and captioned it as “Next time we meet on the field (accompanied by winking face with tongue emoji) all the best for upcoming matches (flexed biceps emoji)”
The post became popular on the internet, and the netizens reacted to the post. While one fan commented “lmao just give him an indian citizenship already,” another fan commented, “RASHID bhaii ko ADHAAR CARD banbaya jay”
In the World Cup 2023, the Afghanistan team has been performing competently. Firstly, they defeated the defending champions, England, and then the number two ranked ODI team, Pakistan. In the match against England, Rashid grabbed three wickets, giving 37 runs. In addition, encountering Pakistan, Rashid Khan took no wickets but was economical, bowling all ten overs.
