Afghanistan skipper Hashmatullah Shahidi, says we play better spin in the nets sessions ahead of IND vs AFG. IND vs AFG World cup match is on October 11 at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi.

Hashmatullah Shahidi is confident to face India’s spin attack. Ahead of the IND vs AFG World Cup match, he said they face spin every day in net sessions. Moreover, the skipper mentioned that the Afghanistan cricket team is far better than it appeared in the match against Bangladesh. Hashmatullah Shahidi was quoted by ESPNcricinfo saying,

“You know, we play better spin in the nets sessions. If you see Rashid [Khan], Nabi [Mohammad], Noor [Ahmad] and Mujeeb [Ur Rahman], we play them every day,” Shahidi said. “I think our team is far, far better [than what it showed against Bangladesh in Dharamsala] at playing spin bowling. That game we know we struggled, but [based on] one game, you can’t say you’re not good enough. That game is gone now, and we know we can play spinners better and we’ll try to come back in next game.”

Hashmatullah Shahidi further said the Afghanistan cricket team is ready for the IND vs AFG match on October 11. In addition, he also added that the team will make a comeback in the game and for the rest of the tournament. Moreover, Hashmatullah Shahidi stated that India will receive more crowd support than us. Lastly, He added that the Afghanistan team will have to perform through the crowd pressure.

“We have the talent and we have the skill to make a comeback in the next game and for the rest of the tournament. India will get a huge crowd support in the game against us, and we have to work through the crowd pressure”
