Warm-up matches getting Washed away

India’s first ICC World Cup warm-up match against England was abandoned due to rain. Captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to bat, but not a single ball as rain arrives just before the schedule start. This marks the second abandoned match in the warm-up leg of the tournament.

However, the Australia Vs Netherlands match is going to happen with 23 overs a side. Indian captain Rohit Sharma, after winning the toss, opted to bat due to the hot and humid weather. Unfortunately, the game was abandoned due to untimely rain, forcing players to leave the stadium. The umpires eventually declared the match abandoned due to continuous rain and unfavorable weather conditions.

Furthermore, the interruptions might be there during the World Cup matches as well. Even in the previous World Cup, there were a lot of stops in the play in the World Cup matches. Even the Semi Final match between New Zealand and India had a reserve day. India lost the match in the reserve day due to an early collapse of the batting in the top order.
