Virender Sehwag  said that he missed out last time but ensured that he got his hundred today. But I would still say that the form he is in he should have scored 160 or 180.

Virender Sehwag on Gill

“He missed out last time but ensured that he got his hundred today, but I would still say that the form he is in he should have scored 160 or 180. He is now of just 25. Had he scored 200 today then he wouldn’t have become tired and could have fielded as well. At 30, he would have found it difficult because he wouldn’t have recovered. So, it is better to score big runs now,”. Virender Sehwag told Cricbuzz.

Shubman Gill has a great chance of becoming the Number one ODI batter in the ICC batting rankings. However, Shardul Thakur and Shubman Gill might be given rest in the last ODI match against Australia in Rajkot. Still, he has the chance to become the number one batsman by removing Babar Azam from the first position. In the second ODI match, Gill and Shreyas Iyer batted well after the early wicket of Ruturaj. Then a cameo from Ishan and a great innings from Sky.
