India’s Suryakumar Yadav smashes four consecutive sixes in an over of Cameron Green. India is currently taking on Australia in a three-match ODI series. In the second ODI, Indian batters put up a show by scoring mammoth 399 runs.

During their innings, the Indian batters showcased their dominance by hitting boundaries effortlessly. Taking advantage of the short dimensions of the Holker Stadium in Indore. The longest boundary measured 69 meters straight, while the side boundaries were just 60 meters.

While walking in the middle, Suryakumar Yadav also didn’t leave any chance to flaunt his class. Yadav smashed four consecutive sixes in the over of Cameron Green. He became the player to smash the most sixes in an over by an Indian against Australia in international cricket.

Suryakumar Yadav provided the finishing touch for India, taking some time initially to settle in but then becoming unstoppable and scoring a quickfire 72* off 37 balls with six fours and six huge sixes. India finished their innings on 399.

However, in the end it ended as a one-sided affair as India managed to win the game comfortably 99 runs thanks to power-pact performance by Suryakumar Yadav. India get their hands on the series with one game to go. The third ODI between India-Australia will take place in Rajkot on 27th September. It will be the final ODI before the ODI World Cup 2023. Both teams will be looking to tick off all the boxes before the marquee event.
