Former India pacer, S Sreesanth has called out to the unfortunate dismissal of Virat Kohli in the Asia Cup.

He feels that it was just Pakistan’s luck to have gotten the big wicket of Kohli and has dismissed it as a proper wicket.

Notably, the clash on the 2nd of September was called off due to rain and both teams shared points.

Meanwhile, Sreesanth says that he is eagerly awaiting the next India-Pakistan clash which is on the 10th of September.

It was unfortunate for India. Pakistan were lucky to get Virat Kohli’s wicket because it was an inside edge. I don’t count it as a wicket. I know him personally, which is why I know what would have been going through his mind after seeing Pakistan’s celebration. I am just waiting for the next India-Pakistan match.

India’s top order crumbles against Pakistan; get away because of rain

Talking about the clash, India won the toss and decided to bat first against the Men in Green.

However, it was a bad call as they crumbled before Pakistan’s pace trio and lost four early wickets on the score of 66.

That’s when Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya took things into their own hands.

Kishan played a knock of 82 from 81 balls while Pandya amassed 87 from 90 balls after which India were all out on 266 in 48.5 overs.

On the other hand, Shaheen Shah Afridi was the standout bowler for Pakistan in the game as he claimed 4/35.

He got the wickets of Kohli, Rohit, Hardik, and Ravindra Jadeja during his bowling spell.

Now, India will look to get their much-needed revenge on Pakistan at Colombo’s R Premadasa Stadium.

Moreover, India will look to keep their winning momentum going as well as Pakistan.
