Sanju Samson special appearance with Indian team before warm-up game

Sanju Samson makes a special appearance with the Indian team before the Warm-up game against the Netherlands. The 28-year-old cricketer wasn’t part of the squad for the World Cup 2023. However, the cricketer was present with the Indian cricket team in his hometown, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.


Indian team, bracing themselves for the much-awaited event, the World Cup 2023, were practicing at Sanju Samson’s hometown. Sanju Samson, the local boy, made a special appearance with the Indian team practicing in nets. While the Indian players were practicing, what drew everyone’s attention was Sanju Samson’s giant portrait on the wall of the venue.

India’s notable fast bowler Mohammed Siraj, spinner Ravindra Jadeja, and Kuldeep Yadav were spotted in the picture practicing. The cricketer took his Instagram to share the picture of his painting on the wall of the venue with players practicing. Moreover, Sanju captioned the post as

“With Team India @ God’s own country!!”

Sanju Samson was with the Indian team in the Asia Cup as the traveling reserve. After omission from the World Cup 2023, Sanju Samson is currently rehearsing for the upcoming Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He is back with the Kerala camp. The Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy(SMAT) will begin on October 16. In addition, Kerala will clash with Himachal Pradesh in the opening match of the SMAT.


Both the warm-up games of India against England and Netherlands washed out due to rain. India will play its first match of the World Cup against Australia on October 8. The game is at A. Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.
