India skipper and opener, Rohit Sharma has recently shown tremendous form in the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023.

Additionally, he has also improved his batting rankings in ODIs after putting up a good show in all three games.

Moreover, in all three games so far, he has been scoring great runs and the team is etching win after win.

Furthermore, in the game against Afghanistan, he scored a ton and then followed it up with 86 against arch-rivals Pakistan.

Thus, this has allowed him to climb up the ICC ODI batting rankings and he is now in 6th place.

Meanwhile, ace India batter, Virat Kohli finds himself at 9th position in the batting rankings and is also displaying good form.

In the game against Australia, he made a good partnership with KL Rahul when India was at 2 runs and had lost three wickets while chasing 200.

Additionally, this is the first time that Rohit has surpassed Kohli in the batting rankings. However, both batters clicking at the right time is good news for India.

de Kock and Trent Boult also receive good positions in the ICC ODI rankings

On the other hand, South Africa’s keeper-batter, Quinton de Kock is also in impressive form in the ongoing tournament.

Playing his last ODI World Cup, he has already notched up two tons against Sri Lanka and Australia.

Because of these tons, he has bettered his position in the ICC ODI batting rankings.

This has allowed the batter to climb up massively in the batting rankings, taking him to the No.3 position.

Meanwhile, New Zealand’s Trent Boult has also shown great outings with the ball as he has given runs in a miserly fashion and has scalped three wickets.

He is now in 2nd place and just a few points away from Australia’s Josh Hazelwood who has reclaimed his numero uno position.
