BCCI has announced on its website that cricket fans who had booked tickets for the game need not worry. They will receive a full refund for their purchases.

Pakistan and Afghanistan cricket teams have successfully obtained their visas

The cricket teams from Pakistan and Afghanistan, meanwhile, have successfully received their visas to visit India for the major competition. The visas for the Pakistani athletes and staffs is going to arrive on Tuesday, Two days before their first warm-up match against New Zealand on September 29. The Pakistan cricket team is going to travel in Hyderabad through Dubai on September 27.

According to sources, Pakistan requested for a visa to India on September 19, and according to regular processing times the approval procedure takes about five days. This timetable forced Pakistan to change its initial intentions for a team-building camp in Dubai.

Pakistan will face off against New Zealand in a warm-up match in Hyderabad behind closed doors.

Pakistan will play two warm up games before the ODI World Cup 2023, taking against Australia. On October 6, they will play in their first official World Cup game against the Netherlands. The highly exciting match between Pakistan and India is set for October 14 at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium. On October 5, this stadium will host the World Cup opening match between England and New Zealand.
