As the BCCI has announced India’s squad for the upcoming ODI World Cup, fans have taken a new tack to break down the squad.

They have decided to use the IPL to see which franchise has given the most number of players to the squad.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians top the list with four players- Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav, and Jasprit Bumrah.

After them come the Gujarat Titans who have given three players to the squad- Hardik Pandya, Shubman Gill, and Mohammed Shami.

Moreover, two players each are present in the squad from Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Delhi Capitals.

And finally, one player each from Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings completes the 15-member squad.

Moreover, the selection committee has made very few exclusions from the team and has retained pretty much the same players from the Asia Cup squad.

Meanwhile, the players who have been excluded are Prasidh Krishna, Tilak Varma, and traveling reserve, Sanju Samson.
