India’s batters roll their arms for England game in Pandya’s absence

Cruising at the moment in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023, India has to face a bit of a challenge in the game against England.

With injury to Hardik Pandya ruling him out of a few games, India’s batsmen decided to bowl in the nets.

Thus, India has become a bit vulnerable with the ball as they will take to the field with five bowlers.

Meanwhile, Pandya suffered an ankle twist during India’s fourth game against Bangladesh and will not be playing a few games.

According to a few reports, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, and Shubman Gill were seen bowling in the nets during India’s practice session in Lucknow.

Before the start of the World Cup, skipper Rohit Sharma had hinted that fans might see him and Virat Kohli bowl during the marquee event.

Apparently, Kohli was given the responsibility to finish Pandya’s over after the latter was taken off the field.

The absence of Hardik Pandya has dented India’s combination a bit but they are pretty confident as well.

India would like to return the favor of the T20 World Cup to England on Sunday

Meanwhile, India will look to get their sixth win of the tournament against the Three Lions at Lucknow on Sunday.

Currently, Jos Buttler and Co. are having a bad campaign in the tournament, winning only one game.

Moreover, India will certainly look forward to returning the favor that England bestowed upon them last year.

During the semifinal game of the T20 World Cup between these two sides, England thrashed India by 10 wickets.

Therefore, India will not lose this opportunity to heap more pressure on England and get last year’s revenge.
