India vs Bangladesh: Ravindra Jadeja Is Named Fielder of the Match

That is exactly what Jadeja did again yesterday. When jadeja took a stunning catch from point to eliminate experienced Bangladesh wicketkeeper-batsman Mushfiqur Rahim. This happens in the first innings of India’s ICC Cricket World Cup match against Bangladesh.

Jadeja Gets Fielder Of The Match Award By Indian Coach T Dilip

Rahim attempted to steer the ball at point towards the boundary in the 43rd over of the innings. What appeared to be a sure shot four turned out to be anything but as Jadeja flew with an acrobatic attempt to catch a fantastic catch out of thin air.

In his trademark cheeky flair, the all-rounder celebrated the catch with a particular gesture referencing to the best fielder’s medal.

And, to their astonishment, that’s precisely what he got at the conclusion of the day. India’s fielding coach T Dilip stepped into the locker room after the game to congratulate and award the honors to Jadeja. Dilip developed this practice in order to honor and respect the effort that goes into being dependable hands on the field.

So far in the event, the victors have been on television screens inside the locker rooms. But Dilip took it a step further on Thursday, when the greatest fielder was declared on the stadium’s large screen, shocking the entire Indian squad.
