After a thumping win over defending champions England in the ongoing ODI World Cup, India has now become the second-most successful team.

Moreover, they have now surpassed New Zealand to achieve this feat in ODI World Cups.

Meanwhile, India has won its 59th match of the tournament since its inception.

Additionally, Australia has a total of 73 wins in ODI World Cups and now faces a worthy contender in India.

India got a comfortable win over England by 100 runs

Meanwhile, India has batted for the first time in the ongoing ODI World Cup but received a shock from the English bowlers.

However, a solid fifty from skipper Rohit Sharma and 49 runs from Suryakumar Yadav ensured a modest total.

During the second innings, Mohammed Shami proved himself once more by picking up four wickets.

Eventually, England’s innings crashed at 129 runs and they now have a slim to no chance of qualifying for the semis.

Additionally, India is once again at the top of the points table and has qualified for the semifinals.

Boasting a total of 12 points, India’s net run rate stands at +1.405 but it can be improved even more.

However, England now sits at the bottom of the points table with 2 points and an NRR of -1.652.
