As India and Sri Lanka gear up for the summit clash of the Asia Cup, they are doing so with compromised sides.

Talking about India, Axar Patel will have to sit out of the final due to several injuries that he sustained.

Both sides currently are facing some injury issues with their star players and hence will make forced changes.

However, the game will still be an interesting watch for fans as they will be eager to know who wins.

Meanwhile, the extent of Axar’s injuries is unknown but it is clear that Washington Sundar will replace him.

However, this news clearly states that things will go badly for India if Sundar is replacing Axar in the squad.

Talking about Sundar, he has not played any ODIs for India since January this year. So, if he gets selected for the playing XI, he will look to put up his best performance against the Lankan Lions.

Sri Lanka also face serious injury concerns ahead of Asia Cup final

Not only India but hosts Sri Lanka are also facing serious injury issues just before the Asia Cup final.

Already their star spinner, Maheesh Theekshana has been ruled out of the summit clash owing to a muscle injury.

This injury has given a major setback to the defending champions as Theekshana is their best performer in the tournament.

Apart from Theekshana, other players not playing in the Asia Cup are Wanindu Hasaranga, Dushmantha Chameera, Dilshan Madushanka, and Lahiru Kumara.

Thus, Sri Lanka will also announce a forced change in tomorrow’s game and call in a replacement for Theekshana.
