Hardik Pandya’s injury

The Indian team’s star allrounder Hardik Pandya got injury while bowling. He immediately went off the field. After leaving the field he was taken for the scans at the local hospital. The BCCI also a gave an announcement that the allrounder won’t make it field. He bowled only three bowls in his over. The former Indian captain Virat Kohli had to roll his arms for the remaining balls of the over. The Indian team management and the cricket fans hope that the injury is not very serious and he returns to the field quickly.

The possible replacement for Hardik Pandya in the squad is the young off spinner who can bat. Washington Sundar does bowl well in the powerplay and has the ability to bat. We have seen his batting glimpses in Australia and in Indian Premier League.

Ravi Ashwin, who is already in the World Cup squad can replace the fast bowling allrounder in the playing 11. The Indian team then has to go with three pacers and three spinners in the playing 11. However, Hardik Pandya is crucial for the Indian team going forward.
