With the ODI World Cup starting on a good note in India, the Pakistan Cricket Team has arrived in the country after a big gap of 7 years.

Meanwhile, they are enjoying their hospitality at the moment in Hyderabad and have already commented much.

However, a tweet surfaced on Twitter that first looked like it was posted from star India batter, Virat Kohli’s official account.

As the fans read the tweet, it quickly went viral on social media. However, upon close inspection, it was revealed to be a fake account.

Reads the tweet,

I warmly welcome Pakistan Cricket Team on their arrival in my country after a long period of 7 years, I will host a party for my friends specially for Shadab at my house. Love you all, always spread love and joy.

The account name reveals that it is @amiVkohli and its bio reads that it is a parody account.

Additionally, it also sports the same profile picture of Virat Kohli with his wife, Anushka Sharma.

It is no secret that Kohli surely enjoys his time with the Pakistani players both on and off the field. He always gets involved in their fun chats and gives tips to young talents.

Therefore, it was assumed at first that the tweet was probably done from the official account.

India-Pakistan to clash on the 14th of October at Ahmedabad

On the other hand, Pakistan has started their ODI World Cup campaign against the Netherlands today at Hyderabad.

Having lost both their warm-up games to New Zealand and Australia, they are now hoping to make a positive start by winning against the Dutch.

Meanwhile, Pakistan and India will clash on the 14th of October at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.
