Babar Azam ahead of Ind vs Pak

“There is more pressure for match tickets than match,”. Pakistan captain said .

“I think what has happened in the past is not important. We want to live in present. I think we can do well. India-Pakistan match is high-intensity. Believe in ourselves. There are a lot of fans coming. I think we have an opportunity to do well in front of fans,”. Babar Azam further stated.

The Pakistan captain further states that

“The India-Pakistan match is a big game, high intensity. Every such game is challenging. I have told (the players) it’s the best opportunity to perform. It is a big stadium that can accommodate many fans, it’s a golden opportunity for us to perform in front of these fans. Didn’t we break the Twenty20 record? I am not worried about the past,”. Azam added.

It’s not pressure. We have played at big stadiums like at the MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground). But, yes, all the support, I think, in Ahmedabad will be for India. It would have been better had Pakistan fans been allowed. But I expect fans will also support us as well,”. Babar Azam added

Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and elect to bowl first in the World Cup match against Pakistan. Pakistani team got all out for less than 200 runs despite the fifty from their captain in the first innings.
