Ashok Malhotra apologises after degrading the Assam team

When things got viral the former cricketer got to know things has went too far due to the social media. He took the ‘X’ platform to make the statement and asks for apologises.

“I apologise profusely if I have hurt Assam people’s sentiments with my comments during the Assam v Bengal game last evening. I am sorry. It was totally unintentional & was trying to speak about their progress. I regret it and give an unconditional apology.”. Ashok Malhotra wrote in X

The Rajasthan Royals player and Assam team captain Riyan Parg is in form of his life at least in the Domestic cricket in India. He has scoring half centuries for fun in the match. He has scored seven half centuries do far in the tournament. After scoring the seventh half century, he made some gesture towards the commentary box.
