Police are on full alert mode in the India and Pakistan match in Narendra Modi Stadium.

6,000 Police at Stadium for protection

The much awaited match of the World Cup is the India and Pakistan match. However, excluding the match there are various other things to look at as a concern for the Stadium authorities. That is the security of the people attending the match. The number has not been revealed yet officially. However, more than a lakh people can easily attend the match at the Narendra Modi stadium in Gujarat. For the purpose of protection, more than 6,000 police were there in the stadium.

There were reports earlier that more than eleven thousand will be there for the protection at the stadium. The 11,000 was including all police, military, and agency services at the stadium on the match day. Furthermore talking about the match, Rohit Sharma, the Indian captain won the toss and elect to bowl first. Ishan Kishan had to give up his place for Shubman Gill who is fit to play. Pakistan’s top order did perform well but could not capitalize the start they got. Eventually, the Pakistan team got all out for less than 200 runs.
